http://BuyMeaCoffee.com is a mini-crowd funding platform to let your fans support you with a $5 donation.  I think that a nice feature of the service is that when someone buys you a coffee, their coffee and your site are posted at the top of the donor list, possibly generating an additional donation if the right donor happens your name on the list.  I've never tried it, but saw the link on calmly.io (a useful site if you're money stressed)

I like this idea. I haven't done it so I don't really know what it takes ie Paypal?  But I feel the rando coming through living vicariously it's an easy support and not as "subscription" based as patreon.
