In this thread we've been posting pictures so that that link can be used at our profile page.
It works but doesn't last for everyone's photos.
In the past I knew this would happen with facebook photos but now seems to be with links to some pictures here?

I looked through profiles for others who posted pics in that thread and it looks like most stuck but some are gone from folks profiles...at first I thought it had to do with whether the pictures were posted in my thread as an attachment or not and maybe that is it. Mine were 'attached' and have been gone for awhile from my profile.
