Russian dolls and the Amazons

I got around to opening a package from Amazon.  It contained one item ... sort of.  Anyway, I unpacked it from the smiley Amazon box.   Of course, it was a box inside a box.   So, I opened the second box.  Of course, there was a third box.  I opened the third box... yep.....there was box number 4.   After opening box 4, I found the desired contents.  I will say, the contents were not damaged.

I don't think I've ever gotten quite that many layers! That is goofy.

I got something like that the other day from amazon too. Open the box, it contains two boxes and bubble pack. open the boxes and they each contained packing peanuts, a layer of the expanded paper packing, more peanuts, a bottle wrapped in expanded paper many layers deep, more peanuts, another bottle as many layers deep, peanuts, and a layer of expanded paper. The exterior box is about 12 x 20 x 14, the 4 bottles it contains are the size of a 12 oz beer bottle. I also have to admit, they were intact.

In this case, the manufacturer double boxed it ....then it appears that Amazon did the same.
