Hi to all,

With many plant projects planned I am looking at Aloe vs root growth hormone to encourage root balls on new plant starts. Any opinions? Is aloe as effective as a commercial root growth product? I like the idea of having something natural and in the garden that can do the job.  Any other natural products which might do the job? Any advice much appreciated. Thanks..M

I have been using honey for the last few years as a rooting agent.   Very simply, 1 tsp. honey per cup of heated water.
We get very good results and can leave the honey water in a sealed jar the entire season to be used when needed.
