Missouri Dept of Conservation is where I got my osage orange trees.  They ship to other states.  I got 300 of them, they were beautiful trees with really great root systems.  They also have white oak.  I can't think of a reason they wouldn't be just as good.  By the 100, they are each $.36 a piece.  With shipping they still cost me less than $1.00 each.  You have to order early before they run out of stock.
