When you go to a library or bookstore to look for wild edibles, you can find lots of books on the topic.  Trouble is, about all they cover are plants and mushrooms.  I acknowledge those, but like to concentrate on those little edible invertebrates, or "bugs".  Some of you might flinch at the word bugs being used so loosely, BUT, we have flu bugs, a recent Covid bug, kids pestering one another is bugging, listening devices are called bugs, SO, although "bugs" might not be entomologically-correct, it's quite a versatile and etymologically-correct word.  I realize there are other edible insects threads here, but the ones I've encountered seem to be years old.  I wanted to start fresh.  Got questions, or want to share experiences?
