I have a lot of tiny garlic bulbs with teeny cloves from volunteer garlic. Could I plant those instead of individual large cloves. It would work but would it be bad for harvest? Thanks!

I would split the tiny bulbs into tiny cloves.  When I tried that there was a huge clump of garlic that stayed little. They most likely will grow ,but may be smaller bulbs next year when you harvest.  They will grow bigger if you split them and use lots of compost and rabbit poo around them.   Garlic likes a bunch of nitrogen.
