I'm new. Lol
I know to put the dirt in the jar, add water to the jar, shake the bajeenkies out of it, then let it settle into layers...
But then I'm not sure!

I honestly can't see a distinct line between the sand and the clay and I'd like to see what I've got here to work with.

Opinions on what I have in this jar?

Please and thank you

It needs to sit longer it can take a couple of days for the clay to settle out, when it's ready the water will be nearly clear.

It looks like the sand/clay separation is just below the 1 cup/8 oz mark so 40% sand/ 60% clay.
