So today I noticed one of my 11 week old chickens has something going on with the edge of her lower eyelid. It is red and irritated looking. Almost like she scraped it, which is totally possible, as she is always investigating weird places for bugs and recently got her head stuck momentarily. But I don't have much experience so I would appreciate second opinions on what might be going on and how best to care for her eye. Could this be something else? Or just a scrape? She is acting totally normal otherwise. Doesn't seem to be affecting her vision.

A very small part of me is worried that it's whatever is behind the songbird deaths that are happening in multiple states right now. It almost certainly isn't that, but the thought keeps popping up. Their run is covered so that wild birds can't get in and we've made extra sure to keep their food, water and much of the run covered with a tarp to protect against wild birds pooping in there.
