I planted some strawberry spinach (chenopodium) a few years ago and the stuff is very prolific. I've learned feeding it to chickens does not harm the seeds. When ripe the berry is sweet but non-descript no really identifiable flavor I guess is the way to put it. If it were mixed with another fruit I wonder if it would make a good preserve/jam? Has anybody ever toyed with these berries before?

Contemplate spending the next 20 years puttering in permaculture projects
