It's a bit late, but I've spent every spare hour over the last week trimming, chipping, digging, planting, mulching, and sowing seeds!
Now it seems we have a bit of early spring monsoon, so I'm taking a break to catch up.
Supposedly here it's going to be a hot year, with less rain than expected, so I've planted the things I avoid in moist years that can fall victim to mildew (zucchini, early squash, lots of beans) and am getting an early start on things that will do well in the heat in late summer (peppers).
So far, so good. Now to keep up with the growth coming from this early rain!
Folks down under, what are you planting this spring?
