More info please for Spinning Wheel

I picked this up the other day and I’m just wondering if anyone can give me more info on it. I’m giving it to a young girl for her birthday who loves antiques. I’d love to give her more info about it if possible and maybe even a video on how to use it. Also does anyone know how much this is worth? TIA

I don't know much about spinning wheels though they look simple to use once a person knows what the parts are for.

It would be lonely if the person you are giving it to can learn to use it.
