I build web applications.

Here is my latest project that I built on my off hours: Plant Life

I use Google's App Engine which is nothing short of amazing. It offers many advantages over the conventional "webserver" approach:

Redundancy - Your website's data is stored in multiple data centers, and is distributed automatically.
Automatic Scaling - When your website's traffic increases, App Engine will spin up more servers to handle the load automatically.
Fault Tolerance - Downtime in one data center, or a network problem will not prevent users from accessing your site. A server failure will never result in data loss or downtime.
Google API access - Easily use google's free services on your site. Maps, docs, tasks, charts, etc.

Get in touch if you'd like to chat about converting an existing site, adding new features, or building something from scratch. I'd love to hear from you.
