If I was going to build a RMH and only place 6 fire bricks and the rest regular bricks, where would be the best placement for the fire bricks?

For me it was always at the back base of the heat riser and also the entire roof  of the burn tunnel where the bricks would be spalled the most.
 
They gave me pumpkin ice cream. It was not pumpkin pie ice cream. Wiping my tongue on this tiny ad:
