At the ripe age of 71 I have broken down and use a hired hand one or two Saturday mornings a month for 4 hours.  I wish I had done this 10 years ago.  As a matter of pride I would figure out how I could do tasks my myself that would normally take 2 or more people.  While I saved money, i burned up my time.  I would sometimes spend many hours on a job that should have been done much sooner.  Now I set those tasks aside for the Saturday morning that I have help available.

That sounds like a good plan.
I am 72 young and I guess we feel we can do it and its good for us.
I realise if we have the personality that expects progress, hired help could be great.
