I'm helping a friend with 20 acres to try to make a model of permaculture in central Florida, I'm in zone 9B and I want to maximize clean, safe calories showing the beauty of edibles... what people can do in a clean way to create safe food...

I have a lot of experience with gardening and permaculture systems, but want to make sure i'm not missing something obvious.

Not shown on the design are rows of fruit trees (avos, mangos, jackfruit) i want to add to the western edge

Not shown on the design is an existing chicken coop, I'd like to use this as a roost at night and have a caretaker let the birds forage in the existing royal palm forest. We're also considering rotational grazing with pigs or sheep in the forest to keep forest floor in control.

Also not on the design are plans for mexican sunflower, and other flowers fit in where possible for pollination and fertility
I'd like to spread wood chips thick all over as well.

Aquaponics in the pond are a given, i want to get bee boxes as well.

i can't do cover crops because i don't want to attract deer and rabbits with clover?

Anyways looking for feedback thanks <3
