Hello, I wanted to share some information on this plant...fairly unknown but possesses many properties to help heal a long list of ailments.

Some research has been conducted and more investigations are taking place in order to determine its capacities as well as how its active ingredients operate.

I have used this plant my whole life and it has proven very effective in healing stomachache, toothache, mouth lesions and bad breath for me.
Those other properties of the plant were unknown to me and I only found those out after doing some research online (from reliable sources)

So do your own research and investigation as well.

Thanks for the interesting post!  We are herbalists and always interested in medicinal uses of plants.
Acacia nilotica isn't well suited to my cold temperate climate.  But just like most of the medicinals it seems to have achieved weed status where it does grow well.  I wonder, do you know, if the powdered acacia fiber that is available commercially is from this?

Hello Cris,

No because there are several species of acacia and they all differ.
Unless the description specifically mentions acacia nilotica then it is not the right product.
Also, different parts of the treee play different roles (bark, root, seeds and pods all have specific properties) so you have to make sure to get the right powder as well.
There are several research papers that break down which part of the tree does what.

But why do you wear your googles indoors? While holding this tiny ad?
