I have been quietly in love with the green sweater from the Woman's
Land Army for a long time. I love it. It looks halfway decent on every shape person.
Freedom of movement. V-neck.
Lately, I've been into historybounding (the act of incorporating historical or history-inspired clothing into your day-to-day fashion choices).
I think these two things could go nicely together.
In fact, the whole ensemble looks pretty practical for wearing around the farm.
Here's
a pattern for handknitting the green jumper but since I can't handknit anymore, I was thinking this would be fun to learn to knit on my knitting machine.
Still a lot of research to do (like learning to use my knitting machine), but it looks like a fun
project.
