Hello. I am looking into the optimal fertilizer schedule for my indoor fruiting plants. Looking into typical greenhouse practices here, it looks like 150-250PPM nitrogen dilutions are given on a "constant feed" basis, i.e. in every watering. Per this calculator, 150ppm nitrogen is obtained in 4l of water using 2.50 grams of 24/8/16 fertilizer. However, the package (miracle gro) recommends using 2.5ml (a similar amount to 2.50 grams) in 4l of water with two weeks. Am I misunderstanding the use or fertilizer in greenhouses? Is miracle grow asking me to severely under-fertilize my plants? Am I going to dramatically over-fertilize because of my potential misunderstanding of the PPM nitrogen calculation?

Thank you for the consideration.

I think they are both saying the same.

The miracle grow is giving the concentration to use if the plant/s use/s 4L of water in a period of 2 weeks I don't have any plants that use more than that and most use an awful lot less.
