Check out this happy little sprout surprise.

Anyone ever try planting seeds that have sprouted inside? Must have been nice and toasy in there!

There is a squash that to grow it, the whole squash needs to be planted.  I can never remember the name of it.

So I would imagine if you planted one of those that is what it would look like inside.

What kind of squash was that?

So when I saw that you had the name of the squash in the title, I put that into google "Vivipary spaghetti "

I got this:

We cut open a spaghetti squash and it had green sprouts growing inside. Have you seen this before? Is it safe to eat the squash?

I"m going to try putting them in the dirt and see what happens! Lots of baby roots in there.

Now i'm curious about planting a whole squash, interesting...I guess it could feed itself?  Frankensquash perhaps

I tried to search for the threads about the one that has to be planted whole though I didn't come up with it.

I am hoping someone will see this and post the name here.
