Hey everyone, glad I stumbled on what seems like an amazing community.

I'm from Nashville, TN + live in Berkeley. I program computers for money while I save up to start my own farm. I'm an avid sewist and native plant gardener and beginning to get into woodworking. Reading through the PEP badges feels like someone just took all the projects I have vaguely planned for sometime in the future and wrote them down in an exhaustive list. Very exciting to find a community that wants to do all of these things together!

I'm slowly starting on the PEA and documenting everything I've already done in the past. And hope to find places nearby that will let me develop up to the PEP1 skills so I could one day be a SKIPer. I'm desperately curious to hear how SKIP has worked out in practice- are people actually building relationships with 'Otis'es and finding land this way? Seems like a lovely way to build community and develop a connection to the land.

Looking forward to meeting y'all and learning a bunch!
