Roughly, the budget is $300,000.  But we have somebody that says they will match funds up to $150,000.   So our kickstarter goal would be $150,000 instead of $300,000.

The product that is offered to kickstarter backers is a series of one hour episodes.  The first would come out around mid-march.  Maybe every two or three weeks?  So about 16 episodes?

The price, I think, would be $65 during the kickstarter and $80 after.

Maybe $200 to have some level of interaction during the growing season?  Maybe $100 to see some of the interactions?

Maybe at $9000, a person could be listed as a producer and influence the type of gardening done on a plot?  Name that acre?

I think this would be a 60 day kickstarter  that would have to end December 20th - so the funds will be paid out January 3.  This gives us a full year to spend all the funds without taking on additional tax burdens.  This means that the kickstarter would start October 21.

Given the timing for tax reasons, it would probably be rough asking for money during the holidays. Starting early sounds very wise. Good luck to everyone involved!

click on the thumbs up for this post if you would back this kickstarter for $65 or more to get the 16 episodes as they are created.
