The Ancient Egyptians frequently experimented with ramps, levers and various types of stone used in the construction of pyramids. During the Middle Ages, people designed the drawbridge and catapult. In World War II, engineers created the stealth submarine and radar systems. We now live in a high technology society and it is vital that we increase interest in engineering and general sciences abroad. To do this, we need to inspire the youth of today so that they may become the scientists and engineers of tomorrow. Visual Education Project is designed to attract high school students, their parents and teachers to the world of engineering and technology. We offer hands-on lessons with science mentors to enhance learning processes, excite students and stimulate their interest in mechanical engineering.

You could run a machine with a magnet but the magnet would have to be recharged just like a battery. There is a theory of magnetic flight using super cooled liquid rotating at high speeds in a big dougnut thingy but it don't work, yet anyway
Diversified Food forest maker . Fill every niche and you'll have less weeds (the weeds are the crop too). Fruit, greens, wild harvest, and nuts as staple. Food processing and preservation are key to self self-sufficiency. Never eat a plant without posetive identification and/or consulting an expert.
it's a nice dream, but nothing comes from nothing, and these aren't free. these experiments don't have a load on them and don't account for losses due to friction, etc. or the size and amount of materials needed to scale this up for any purposeful work or account for where the materials come from.

they also have electric motors on them.
a magnet motor is possible, but magnets will degrade over time. and it takes energy to make magnets, so it is not perpetual, but it is interesting, nonetheless.
