Options for enhancing or refitting a Pioneer Princess-style stove for "rocket" (reburn) style use?

I have a couple Pioneer Princess style stoves that are pretty old, but still solid. One does not have a front load door and one does have a front load door. I've attached a sample image (mine are not in nearly as good of shape, but still work fine).

I'd like to convert one or both of these to be both rocket mass heaters for large areas (heating a barn home that's over 6000 sq ft). I realize I need to somehow convert these to "rocket stove" and "rocket mass heater" style systems. I believe the most important thing to do will be to:

1: get reburn working so that these are efficient and produce maximal heat.

2: get masses and distribution mechanisms in place for retaining and spreading heat.

Any ideas on best practices to do this?

I'd love to see a retrofit of an AGA Range Cooker or Woodstove to rocket design.

I think it would be a shame to turn these pie cookers into simple house heaters.  I like food and dual purpose machines.

That said I looked up the manual.  Side burn and down draft high effecient, these stoves are already using many of the tricks used by the rmh for effecient burn.  It is basically a short riser rocket design.  The burn efficiency of a rocket comes from always running at full speed.   Don't run the stove with a closed damper.  Repair / replace the fire bricks, any that are above the wood or in the burn path consider replacement with insulting fire brick.  Modifying it for high mass could be done by just adding a water loop and a large water mass to thermal siphon heat.  Next would be a high mass bell in the chimney path.  There is very little push from these stoves so make sure you bring the exhaust path back to the stove so the chimney is close enough to get radiant heat from the stove to help it draft.  A bypass damper will help light it and preserve the pie cooking feature.  Tom

The AGA designs burn chamber looks like its begging for a rocket mod.
