Changing one's display name

It seems to be impossible to change one's name once one has registered. I guess the key is to not register until you know the name you wish to register with.

Yeah ... the nice thing about phpBB was that it was all set up and ready to go. I didn't have to install anything. But it does seem to have some shortcomings.

I found a switch that says it will allow folks to change their name. Does it work?

It seems to work. You can't have two users with the same user name. And it changes all the previous posts to the new name.
