I'm in Northern Saskatchewan, where the prairie turns to forest.  We have scenery and a variety of opportunities, but the one today is because my tree surgeon has far more work than he can handle, and is having to slow down with age.  The work usually involves climbing trees to dismantle them safely around buildings.  You should be fit and smart to stay safe, but it is good outdoor work, pays very well, and you get a lot of independence.
