I've been working on my studio dragon for the last few weeks.
Today I went to reset the barrel.  Having been sitting outdoors in the rain it needed a lite sanding.
As I was sanding the surface rust off,  I realized that this is the very first barrel I bought for my very first RMH!
Summer of 2013!  So 9 years of hard burning and other than needing a paint job its as good as new!
This barrel has been cob covered for most of its life but an oil finish barrel would be the same.

So How long will my barrel last???
Nine years and counting so far!
I expect 9 more at the least.
