Tennessee myotonic goats (the real fainting goats)

Hi all,

since I introduced my wife to an US expat living in Thailand she fell in love with his Billy goat who is about 10 years old now.

Unfortunately he has no breeding stock and his goat is like others have a pet dog.
When the goat gets called by his owner after the goat cookies he bakes for him are ready - the goat faints for excitement.

Since I found out that this leg stiffening behavior is normal and does not harm the goats, they are not anymore a sick breed made for human entertainment for me.

I even found out that they are actually quite resistant  and also easier to keep regarding fencing.

Beside their meat is considered as higher class than other breeds...

Since this forum is packed with members from USA there might be somebody who knows reliable companies who do international shipping of pedigree goats or even has a farm and does ship internationally.

Any suggestion is highly appreciated because I know if my wife would get a few of them she would be over the moon.
Huge challenge for me....

Cheers

Will (See's husband)
