Hello fellow permies

I live in Bridport, Dorset (UK) in a rented flat with my teenage son and I'm really keen to be more land based.

If anyone knows of any property/land/unusual habitable space that might be suitable please let me know.

Thanks

Hi Justin and welcome to the forum from Cornwall.

Are you the same JC from P2S?

Oh hey, by the way...Uh, you live in Dorset and you don't know about the River Cottage series & Hugh Fernly Wittingstall or the landshare project that he set up? That seems impossible, but just in case you should check it(the shows)/him out. Also, this blog post will give you an idea of what it's all about:

Hope this is helpful...

Thanks for the tips Simon, I'm actually just down the road from River Cottage.

As an aside when I moved down to West Dorset I registered on Landshare for a plot to grow veg on and had one or two offers for land which was too far away, then I put up a couple of notices on inboards in town and had no fewer than 9 responses and picked the best plot for my veg growing project

Still looking for somewhere to live if anyone has any more ideas or knows anyone with a run down smallholding they want looking after

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
