Hello community friends I recently bought some property in Blairsville Georgia and It seems that there are several people that live in a community that are also building tiny homes, Cobb homes or Straw bale houses and wondering if we can join forces? My son is trying to build his own tiny space on the property and although heโ€™s not afraid of hard work is very difficult doing it alone. Some of you have a lot more experience and he would be happy to join you to help build if you would do the same for him. So far he has cleared the area from trees. Please let us know. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Back in 2000 i took a class offered by the local environmental center. We wanted to build a strawbale house and this was a hands on class. I loved the experience and we built a beautiful house near Sisters, OR. I promptly built a strawbale pump house and after 20 years it looks like I need to replace the roof but it has been a trouble free structure. We never built our strawbale house but went with a conventional stick built home after finding it difficult to arrainge financing/insurance at the time for a strawbale structure. You will be surprised how  fast the structure will go up with a few more hands on partners.
