alternative grasses requiring less watering and mowing

Looks like the NoMowGrass we put in. We wanted some natural areas and didn't want the animals grazing next to the house. We also planted paths through the gardens and wooded areas where we frequent. And, along the creek, the hubby planted a picnic area and we plan on planting edible woodlands around it
