Vacation / Volunteer In Sweden on a first year permaculture site

We just got a long-term lease on a barren mountain with some trees in Järna, Sweden.
Järna is the capital of the Antroposophical and Biodynamic movement in Sweden and some say Europe.
If you are coming to Europe and would like to visit this haven ( google the Steiner Seminariet in Jarna Sweden)

Then consider staying with us in exchange of several  hours of farm labor a day.
This is the first year, so there is lots of tough work like raking leaves, making compost piles, and putting up fences.

You will be roughing it in a camper trailer or bring your own tent.

This is great for the adventurous and young at heart that dont want to pay 40 euros and up a day, and you get a loaner bike to ride around.
Stockholm is 1 hour away by SL train, buy a cheap weekly car valid for all Stockholm buses trains and metro, same price, and the train station is 40 or 15 mintues away by bike depending if you want to ride through the natural reserve or on the car road.

No drugs including pot,weed, mj, 420, etc , no alcohol, and lots of hard work!

I am definitely interested in living and working at a fist-year permaculture farm in Sweden.  How can I reach you to ask further questions?  I am thinking of traveling to Europe this Fall.  Thanks.  Wiley

Hi/Hej! Don't know if it's best to write in swedish or english but I'll try english if anybody else out there is interested in what I'm talking about

I am very interested/possesed in permaculture and wish to learn everything about it. I live in Gothenburg and have been trying to find some place close to Gothenburg where I can help in order to learn but without results. I would be very interested in going to Järna if that's the only way. How would we go about this sort of thing? It's obviously not the right season for something like that but maybe in the early spring when I guess most of the work starts.

Hi!  I'm dedicating next year to wwoofing and volunteer work in Northern Europe, specifically Scandanavia and would be interested in helping a start up permaculture site.  I'm ready for some hard work and a learning experience so one day I can do the same.  Please respond with more information, a contact email or website would be great.

Hi Arleen! Peter Norrthon (expert in permaculture) is giving a course in permaculture at Hällungens kursgård located in Svenshögen in northern Stenungsund here in Sweden during 5 Saturdays starting the 22:th january. then 5:th and 19:th february and March. Other teachers are Helena von Bothmer, Miki Dedijer and Tim Jago. The course costs 2000:- and food/bed will be kept at a minimum. I don't know if they will hold the course in Swedish or English but I guess something can be arranged.
