fleas- HELP ME PLEASE

Hi, its about 4 months that I’m challenging with fleas . Apparently , I’m their main host. We dont have any pets.They entered home by accident in September.Regular vaccum cleaning and using regular insect killers ( containe permetrin ) didnt work . We have no access to special flea killers and DE (AS YOU RECOMMENDED HIGHLY).Ididnt know about its life circle (cuz its my first time having them at home such a long time and I thought it would die or leave the home after a while), but now I've gotten good info through your website.All in all, recently I'm doing my best (vaccume cleaning every 3 days, spreading salt +sodium bicarbonate after vaccuming each time,and putting flea trap in my bedroom ,however it has not trapped any fleas so far, going to swimming pool and taking shower, changing sheets every week).I saw one flea on my neck last night but I couldnt catch it.I often feel something crawling in my hair or body ,it (or they) leaves on me... it really harrases me, how can I kill them when they are on me ?. since then I know more about them it's been like a nightmare to have them forever (cuz as I said I have no access to DE or chemical flea killers )How can I get rid of them quickly ? Are the chores that I'm doing enough to remove them completely ? If yes, for how long should I do those ? By the way, we have long grasses outside,however,it's freezing now ( 15 degree below zero at night ) and I don't think they can stay alive at this temperature outside.
I'm really looking forward to seeing your tips and answers

Boric acid powder. Roach powder. not borax


if you have a small pump up sprayer, you can mix with water and a touch of soap, and spray under bed and drawers, and around big stuff like appliances.

dust your fur, and put a small amount along carpet/wall edges. blow some dust under anything big, like fridge.

you are not supposed to breathe it in, otherwise pretty non toxic. thats why you dont want to dust entire carpet.

check your hat/coatrack area.

and 4 more questions :
1) Does this formulation eradicate all forms of flea (egg, larva and mature form) ?
2) How often should I repeat the procedure ?
3) How much Boric acid and water should I mix ?
4) Isn't it harmful for my little kid (2 years old) during or after spraying the liquid ?

prob not egg stage, they have to walk thru it, like DE.

water wont take much into solution, would only make in 4L batches at a time or less. make sure to use just a little soap in there. say 1 tbl. to a Liter.

Danger is in breathing powder in. Make sure you are getting pure Boric acid powder, not mixed with other toxics. Can find at folks for biodiesel, but you need the finest powder you can get, so i usually look for roach powder.

Spray it up onto the bottom of things they could be hiding in, and on vertical surfaces that wont hold the dust.
Dust works best along edges of rooms. put down a bit, and sweep it along baseboards, etc. Bugs will usually get to an edge, and follow it.
Don't leave free dust or piles around, if the kid is sniffing the floor.

If you are the carrier, try mixing a little cinnamon oil into your shampoo and body soaps too. will keep em off you, but some folks are sensitive. test first.
I would dust my hair one eve for a couple hours, (just enough to keep the skin dusted, you dont need to be a ghost), and wash it out before bed too.

Your answer is a small night light about one to two feet from your floor. On the floor you put a dish of mildly soapy water. Through the night, the fleas jump to the light, and land in the bowl.. sink, (because you broke the surface tension with the soap), and die. It may take a while for them all to go through the life cycle and "find" the light, but it does work. You may want to try putting one in every room for faster results. Plus make sure all other lights are off all night.

that being said: fleas and mosquitoes hate the taste of vitamin B1
which is found abundantly in brewers yeast...
this is the yeast left over from making beer and it's one of the super foods
for man and their pets... my dog loves it... and " if" she had FLEAS
i would powder her belly with it
then it's perfectly safe to have them lick their fur afterwards unlike chemical flea powders.

Anything very aromatic like mints and especially CEDAR chips, Cedar pillows drives fleas away.

make sure not to have an old vacume cleaner bag around because its a perfect breeding area
