Hi all,
thanks to all sharing here
sometimes we all get anxious because of the cold, or exited at a new solution before we understand the underlying concept
we are all still human
perhaps each section on this wonderful forun should have a "start here", or "read this first" sticky thread
if the moderators would set this up, perhaps we as members could help populate these threads with
what we have found to be the best consise overview, best example(s), most useful related links

might save some repetition and misunderstandings

I concur.

In fact, this forum has so much information, it could really benefit from being sub-categorized. Like, "Materials", "Fuel and Fire", "Draft and Exhaust", etc.

...just a thought

takng some of my own medicine over at another forum...amazing how much you can learn by logging in (wow, pictures and models!) and rereading the "start here" stickies as well as simply reading and re-reading and scrolling down to see other areas until your eyes bug out and your mouse dies...then you pick yourself up and head off to decapitate some old propane tanks, make some fire, and all is well!
