In the last few weeks two different people came to me with the exact same idea. I think it is a great idea - I'm just trying to settle on how to implement it.

I think each section could have a beginner forum. And the theme could be "a friendly place for beginners". These sorts of places might need a bit more moderation. Maybe a bit more care .... but they would also be a place where the words are extra extra gentle and supportive.

Under "growies" I think we could have a forum, at the bottom, called "gardening for beginners". And something similar for each section.

Before implementing this idea, I would like to get some feedback on possible variations I had not thought of. I would also like to get some feedback that if we do this, people will stand up and help the uber newbies with lots and lots of extra care.

I think it would be helpful. It might also help consolidate like posts or direct newbies with explanations or encouragement of how to search feature
for questions that have already been asked.
