Hi,

I'm an undergrad student at Prescott College, studying sustainable community development. For my senior project I'm doing a research paper and presentation at the International Making Cities Livable Conference in June. I've written a survey as part of my research and was wondering if any of you would like to fill it out? It should take 5 to 10 minutes. Here is the link: http://edu.surveygizmo.com/s3/1143915/17ba733ace79

Thanks!

Laura

Thank you very much, everyone who has done the survey so far! =) I'm still collecting data, and then I have until March 1 to finish writing the paper. I'll post the results here if anyone is interested.

Thanks Julia and everyone! It's been very interesting. The survey got 172 responses. I finished the paper and submitted it, now I'm working on the presentation for the conference in June.

So Laura, in a nutshell, what did your survey tell you?

I haven't done a thorough analysis yet, but so far I've found that most people do really want permanent homes. Many people who want to replace or recreate former permanent homes lived in those homes in their late teens to early twenties. People who are working on settling into their homes volunteer for more environmental causes than they do social causes, all other groups volunteer for more social causes than they do environmental. More later... If you took the survey and put in your contact info I'll send you the full report after I create it.

Stop it! You're embarassing me! And you are embarrassing this tiny ad!
