Hi! I was wondering if some folks might take a gander at some photos of my property and offer suggestions of what they might do with the space? I have roughly 1/4 acre fenced 'yard' and 1/2-3/4 acre of 'forest'. My goal is, of course, food.

I have deer, rabbit, possum, racoon, SQUIRRELS GALORE, and coyote in my neck of the woods to contend with as well, so maybe we could keep that in mind when we brainstorm? If anyone has any interest in giving suggestions or ideas I'll post some pictures.

Lots and lots and lots of love,

F

Welcome Faeryn! In addition to pictures of the site, many responses  can be better informed if your general location and climate zone is in your signature or profile. Google Earth screenshots can also help if you’re not too worried about privacy. Even then, identifying info could be obscured or cropped out  in most basic photo management apps. It is also pretty easy to overlay a 7.5 USGS contour map onto Google Earth:

This can help see aspect and hydrological factors for designing earthworks and plantings.

Thanks, Ben! When I bust out the laptop I'll change that. Hard to do on mobile. I appreciate the insight!
