I'm growing winecaps (Stropharia rugosoannulata) in the mulch around my fruit trees (plum, cherry, persimmon). The persimmon has had some mold issues so I was thinking to add Bonide Revitalize Biofungicide (a culture of bacillus amyloliquefaciens) but I'm worried it could kill the winecaps. Anyone know if that's the case, or if the bacteria targets a more narrow range of harmful fungi?
Benny, that is a really good question. Wine Caps do not infect roots, so I would thing that bacillus amyloliquefaciens would tend to not be toxic to Stropharia. But honestly, that is a guess. If you do try this, please let us know your results!
