Purple mooseage weirdness

When I receive purple mooseages, I get the little number on the envelope.  After I read the message, whether I go back to the forum or I close the page and come back, the little number will be there again.  I have to go into mooseages twice before the number goes away and stays.  It happened twice again today.

I tried sending one to myself, and couldn't recreate the problem that way.

There is a sticky cookie sometimes.   Not sure what that means,  but cleaning browser history makes it go away.

fixing pm glitches is low priority since the site is primarily forums.

I understand.  I would much rather see that other issue corrected where you go from page 1 to page 2 and the first 15 or 20 entries are repeated.  With limited time, I'd much rather have that fixed.  Thanks for the response.
