I love the Missoula Community Food Co-op for many reasons, but I think my favorite is that they do a lot of food research for me. Check out these pictures I took last Sunday, during my three hour workshift. Like the Good Food Store, they also post the purple non-gmo verified labels on products, but they go even further to post the boycott list from the organic consumers association (see: which shows the companies opposing the right-to-know initiative that would require the labeling of all products contain GMOs. They also post info about the strike at the United Natural Foods, INC distribution center, something i have herd nothing about while shopping at the GFS. I love that the co-op provides this information to me, and there are so many other ways they are awesome.

I was hoping that some other folks could chime in about the reasons they love the co-op. So that it ain't all coming from me...!
