They are both really lovely!! Will you be using a vessel above ground, like theirs, or sticking to the in-ground feature?

right now, I'm just gathering information of different ponds and water gardens that inspire and have a calm feel about them. Something for the future perhaps. Although I am currently experimenting with a small water garden, I could see wanting to improve and rebuild it in a year or two.
This natural swimming pool (af. link) video has some great ideas in it. I finally got around to watching it today. I've been avoiding it because I don't swim, why would I want a pool?
But actually, the balance and thought that goes into that ecosystem has some good inspiration for small water gardens.
I finally made another little pond a few weeks ago! I had one similar before bus life and also a small inground pond before that. I’ve been missing the comforts of past gardens so this year I just decided not to wait anymore. I’ll take it all with me if we change locations someday! It has added so much peace and joy to our little spot… I don’t know why I waited so long! So easy to put together! Happy Spring!
(I’ll post a few pix separately if I can figure it out…)

So peaceful and easy to do. I will take it with me if and when we change locations!
Happy Spring!
