Does anyone here know of any successful crowdfunding to get property? I really can't think of any, but at this point it seems the only way to get property in the next 15 years or so,, with saving up for emergencies, the (very modest) mortgage, living getting ever more costly, just life in general.

I dont want to dampen your enthusiasm, BUT why would people feel a need to help yourself.
You are certainly thinking outside the square.

I cannot think of anything other than good luck and good income at the moment.
Do you want to own it or have access to it?
What type of land, what area, and what value are you looking at?
Can you take a lodger in?
Create a side hussle?
- delivery service
- fix fly screens in your area
- sing on the sidewalk

Not sure about crowdfunding for land, but have you heard of the SKIP program here - https://permies.com/wiki/skip-pep-bb

It is entirely free, and is a way to connect those who want to do permaculture and homesteading (but don't have the land) with people who have land (but have no one to will it to or work it with them)... It is a way for capable people to display their skills to those looking for responsible people to take over their farm or homestead.

So essentially a way to inherit property from a landowner who wants to pass their land on to someone who is capable with permie ethics.  And at the same time you'll be maybe building some new skills, or honing existing ones.

Also, check out the permaculture bootcamp here: https://wheaton-labs.com/bootcamp/

You can learn heaps of skills whilst there, but also after 4 months in the bootcamp you could find yourself with an 'Ant village' acre plot and with the rent and deposit covered for the year.  You can also get 'Deep Roots' (lifetime rent) for that acre after 2 years in the Bootcamp.

So - some alternative ideas to think about maybe :)
