I'm trying to design a one - acre forest garden, and I need to know some perennials ( that I can eat) to plant in it, because I just can't seem to find enough to have the diversity that accompanies forest gardens.
might be worth checking out Eric Toensmeier's book, Perennial Vegetables, from your local library. lots of good information in there. there are other good sources, too, but Eric did a good job of consolidating information on temperate species from a wide array of literature.
