This is the first time I have fully grasped the concept of keyline in the landscape. Darren uses "sand castle" mountains to show how it all works. Very well done , several short videos.

Yeah, those are awesome videos, he covers a lot of the core content from Water For Every Farm. Although it is a difficult read b/c of poor writing and numerous typos (some of the poorest editing I have ever seen), it is a great book to read if you want to learn more about this. But I warned you.

great set of videos for anyone trying to better understand the keyline system. this really helped me understand the basics, and to see what is possible with keyline design

i am glad to see more and more designers incorporating this into systems design.
for anyone looking to farm on a larger scale, this could be a really big step in whole farm planning.

Big fan of these videos, they're a really good teaching tool. Like Geoff Lawton and his little mini swale and dam. Now when my wife and I are at the beach, I design keyline systems.

I had watched these a few years back and was trying to describe them to my wife a few weeks back but couldn't find them. I stuck them into a youtube playlist here to make them easier to watch in series and so that I can find them again later.
