I have been watching YouTube videos I guess since YouTube came into existence. ive found that it can be extremely valuable and helpful to learn things I didn't know. in my recovery from the fatal accident I was involved in a year and half ago I have just begun to slowly start repairing some of machines and equipment I have. I have seen some videos where the person is an absolute expert and gives outstanding instruction and also there are an awful lot of repair videos by people who have no idea what they are doing and act like they are expert and are giving bad, wrong and sometimes dangerous advice and instruction.
I started thinking that I am a mechanic, welder and metal fabricator with 6 years of such formal education under my belt and maybe I could document what I might repair, restore and create.
so I posted my first video yesterday and will document repair and restoration of a 1953 farmall tractor that has not run in about 30 years.
my next project will be a engine driven welder that has not run in 20 years. and there are lots more machines that need attention.
if you would like to tell me what you think I would appreciate it. by searching YouTube for latemodelrust. you can watch this first video.
thanks all.
