Starting worldschooling sabbatical by crossing country from San Diego via Albuquerque to New York.  Looking for homesteaders/ communities along way who might be interested in sharing their projects, first with me now, then with the world as a published compendium of actionable comparative case studies.

Hello Patrick,
What an interesting project. I am in central Kentucky. If your path takes you this way you are welcome to visit my homestead. What is your timeline?
Are there specific projects you wish to highlight?

Hello Angela,

Thanks for your interest.  I was supposed to leave to cross the scorching deserts tonight but am delaying a day to finish a few more projects.  I am driving a fully loaded little EV, have to stop for a few days at my homestead in Albuquerque, & am leaning into the most direct route broken up by charging/ rest/ exercise, my kind of food, limited driving enthusiasm, & trying to avoid having to use the A/C through yet more heat waves.

That would take me up 70 a bit north of Kentucky.  I don't necessarily have to visit for this project, though it helps much to connect with special people & see their special projects.  I am focused on holistic approaches substantially closing toward an ecological paradigm, all the variations especially those that would share with others especially fence-sitters/ skeptics/ opponents their objectives, challenges, trade-offs, trajectories, outcomes.

Patrik

Ah…it looks like you plan on going from St Louis to Indianapolis on 70.
Hummm. If you go St Louis to Louisville on 64, I’m 1 hour, 10 minutes south on 65. If that’s too much out of your way, no worries. Best to you!

That's not too far.  I've had to delay another day on plumbing issues.  How about I check in with you when I reach STL?  My sister-in-law's black walnut farm is in Perryville, MO, & though they're in Chile right now, it's a possible pit stop.  I have used 40 often long ago & wouldn't mind turning up through Appalachia for a refresher.  Depending progress en route, state of well-being & charge, timing in day, perhaps a side-loop visit could work out well for both of us either route.  Would you like to exchange info on our work & sites?
