I'm 75 and it is the only thing I see coming that has the potential to make the biggest impact in the least time.
I have seen countless utopian schemes come and go in my brief time here. I am anxious to see where this goes.
Yesss I’d move anywhere in America people want to try it I’m creative and I know a collection of people like minded and hard working could make an oasis just about anywhere with the right people involved. I’m trying to start an eco community that functions adhering to the Ubuntu principles, while operating under a Non profit to mitigate some tax strain from the massive amount of income working the land can bring. I love that it’s the only crypto I know of backed by 3 hours of someone’s time. Tellinger has really thought this through.
Provide a safe educational experience for families. Allow camping on site of a massive food forest using permaculture techniques. Filming the build of the food forest and the land transformation will get the word out initially. Over time as more and more families camp there the idea of Ubuntu won’t be so unknown in 🇺🇸 America. This will require a substantial amount of land for the project to do justice. 100 acres with a stream or springs on the land. Preferably in the beautiful Pacific Northwest but anywhere someone has land to allocate to this project. I see the nearest Ubuntu town is Utah which is half way Accross the country. People already travel to the PNW (pacific northwest) every year to camp in the amazing Olympic National Park so a campground food forest would be the perfect “this is what Ubuntu is about” opportunity. If a property is funded by OST I’ll move there and start building campsites and clearing for the food forest.
I've read UBUNTU and I, too, feel inspired by it. It's the most beautiful vision of society my mind has contemplated yet. I currently live near Sedona, Arizona and I bought a few copies of it to circulate in my community. Attempting it would be the ultimate commitment, and risk.
Hello, I haven't read the book yet. However, I have been attracted to the Solarpunk movement as of late. Which is nicely open for interpretation in loving ourselves a new Destiney. It seems as though Ubuntu: Contributionism experiment has been tried before with the Zeitgeist movement led by Peter Joseph, if you are familiar.
