In the arts district of Vancouver Washington there is a low waste shop named Kindred Homestead Supply. They largely sell soap supplies and herbs in their bulk refillery. But they have a number of sturdy washing brushes, tools and other items. They host a second saturday flea market during the warm months, as well as a monthly mending circle and other classes.
Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire.
