Research into into using mycorrhizae (fungal roots) to make insulation has been going on at Wheaton Labs this past summer at the Permaculture Technology Jamboree. This youtube video is a short clip of Beaus mycoinsulation project. There is a push from the permies community to make a sequel to the Low Tech Laboratory Movie. Hopefully, the Kickstarter to fund will be fully funded so the project can go forth and infect many more brains with permaculture!
