Traditional joinery is simple and beautiful, but it takes much more skill. In this short clip, Beau and the PTJ crew are putting up the grape arbour using the dovetail joint technique. He explains importance of choosing the right tools, like the old block and tackle for lifting heavy beams and the difference between tenons and mortises, and how they fit together to form a robust structure.
